Hi friends! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Phi and I am a Southern California-based mama of 2, to Parker and Maple, wife to my high school sweetheart Michael, and creator of this blog Phi Simple.
I decided to launch this blog in 2018 as a passion project. For years I have had this strong urge to start a blog and write about ideas and thoughts that would pop up in my head, and badly wanted to share with a greater community. Scared of expectations, judgement, and failure I was just too chicken to do it. They say to find your true self, one should go back to what it was you did as a child that you loved to do. For me, that was writing, it always was and always has been my outlet and favorite way to communicate. So here it is.
I am a lawyer by trade and practiced law before I had children. My husband and I decided when we started a family that I would try out being a Stay-At-Home-Mom/homemaker. I tried it out, I liked it, and the rest is history.
Phi Simple is a place where I hope to share my thoughts (probably in rambling form), ideas, brainstorms, and observations about myself, my family, people, and things happening around me. I can’t be sure where this journey will lead but I am excited to take a leap and try.
I hope to be as candid as I can be, maybe give you some laughs, and maybe offer a tip or two. I hope you’ll continue to come by and let’s see where the road takes us!
